THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT PROCEDURE) ORDER 2005

In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, does hereby REFUSE planning application 13/00417/B by Mr Lee Dixon for Erection of a dwelling, Plot to Rear of 47 Governors Road, Onchan for the following reason(s):

1. The proposal is contrary to Environment Policy 42 and General Policy 2(b), 2(c), 2(g) and 2(h) of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 in that the development by reason of its siting and context would, if approved, have a detrimental impact on the living conditions of the occupants of No. 47 Governor's Road and No. 1 Queens Road in particular and would create a cramped development which would be out of character within the locality.
