On 15th January 2013, and in pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Regulations, the Department of Infrastructure has DECLINED CONSENT to Dandara Commercial Limited for the erection of temporary advertising signage (retrospective) at Field 521895, between Isle of Man Business Park and Cooil Road Douglas Isle of Man for the following reason(s):
- The temporary advertising signage would not be of a high standard of design and materials and as a result would detract from the surrounding area which would be contrary to General Policy 6 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan.
- The temporary advertising signage would not be on a site to which they relate and would have an unacceptable impact on the character and appearance of the area which would be contrary to General Policy 2 and General Policy 7 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan.

This decision was made by a Senior Planning Officer in accordance with the authority delegated to them.
Any appeal against this decision must be in writing and must be received by this Department within 21 days of the date of this notice.

Please note that if the counter copy of the application is not collected within THIRTY DAYS following the last date on which a planning appeal can be made it will be destroyed without further notice.
