General Policy 2 from the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2007 is the relevant policy. The officer assessed the proposal's impact on the street scene in a predominantly residential area per the Douglas Local Plan 1998. The uPVC door was found acceptable as it matched existing doors on the street and caused no adverse effects.
