Housing Policy 11
HP11 permits conversion of rural buildings to dwellings only with modest, subordinate extensions that do not adversely affect character, and states further extensions will not usually be permitted to avoid loss of original interest. The officer acknowledged this restriction but found the proposal acceptable due to prior approvals for similar extensions establishing precedent, with the extension on the non-road facing elevation having acceptable impact on character.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
