The application site is Belle Vue House, Belle Vue, Peel. The property is a semi-detached dwelling situated on the northern side of the road. A lane runs to the rear of the property.

This application seeks approval for the creation of a vehicular access and creation of parking to the rear of the property.

The application site is located within an area identified as being residential use by the Peel Local Plan.

Peel Town Commissioners do not oppose this application. The Highways Division does not oppose this application.
Assessment
The proposed development would have limited impacts upon the surrounding area and the size and design of the gated access is judged to be acceptable. The proposal would provide off-street parking to serve the property and would not prejudice highway safety.
