Environment Policy 1
ENV1 protects the countryside for its own sake. The officer assessed the pond creation as enhancing wildlife by formalising a marshy area of limited grazing value, with additional planting providing visual and ecological benefits, thus complying despite rural location.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.
Approved drawings
This permission relates to the creation of a pond and associated landscaping all as shown in drawings reference P01, P02, P03 and P04 all received on 2nd September, 2010.
Landscaping implementation and maintenance
All planting, seeding or turfing comprised in the approved details of landscaping must be carried out in the first planting and seeding seasons following the completion of the formation of the pond. Any trees or plants which within a period of five years from the completion of the development die, are removed, or become seriously damaged or diseased must be replaced in the next planting season with others of a similar size and species.
Excavated material retention
No excavated material shall be removed from site without the prior written approval of the Planning Authority.
