Policy permits buildings/facilities for nurseries and market gardens only if: a) scale/form/design/materials in keeping with surroundings; b) no unacceptable effect on residential amenity or highways; c) no adverse impact on character/appearance or need for significant highway changes; d) sited away from highways and screened if appropriate. Officer found the polytunnel's minor scale, steel/plastic construction, and screened prison location met all tests with no visual, amenity, or highway harms.
Time limit
The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

This approval relates to the erection of a polytunnel as indicated in the submitted documents and drawings PT 01, PT 02, PT 03 and PT 04 all received on 13th May 2010.
