Housing Policy 15
Housing Policy 15 states that the extension or alteration of existing traditionally styled properties in the countryside will normally only be approved where these respect the proportion, form and appearance of the existing property, and only exceptionally for extensions over 50% of existing floor space. The officer assessed the porch removal and door installation against this, finding it respects the proportion, design and form of the bungalow with no adverse impact on visual amenity or character.
Time limit
