In pursuance of his powers under the above Act and Order, the Minister for Infrastructure, the Hon P A Gawne MHK, does hereby in the name of and on behalf of the Department APPROVE planning application 14/00934/B by Trustees of Arlan PPS for Removal of existing shop front and erection of a new front consisting of a sliding folding door at 35 North Quay, Douglas, subject to the following conditions:
- The development hereby approved shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this decision notice.
Reason: To comply with Article 14 of the Town and Country (Development Procedure) (No 2) Order 2013, and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented planning approvals.
- Before development commences, detailed drawings and sections of the sliding folding door, together with a sample showing the colour to be used, shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details and sample.
Reason: In the interests of the character and appearance of the site and its surrounding area.
Note: This approval relates to Drawing No SC1346/P/10-01 and SC1346/P/10-02 received by the Planning and Building Control Division on 5 August 2014.
