500mm of material will be removed from the river bank to lift a pre cast concrete head unit into postion, all works will be carried out from river bank. (RAMS will be issued to DEFA & FRM before constructrion works commences on site) How do you propose to remove the material? (if using machinery, please include whether this would need to enter the river channel) All works will be carried out using an 14t excavator, no machinery will enter the water course.
Please give details of when you wish to remove the material and how long it will take (during October to June (inc) consent is unlikely to be granted for extraction of material from rivers with a mostly stony substrate due to the sensitivity of fish eggs and fry to such disturbance)
