Subject: RE: Information in relation to condition 19 of PA 22/00675/B providing details for the construction of the headwall From: "Wade, Ian" [email protected] Date: 2025-06-24 10:46:33+01:00
Good morning Charlotte,
Further to your email, Manx Utilities have reviewed the headwall proposals and are satisfied with the proposals contained in the application.
For the drainage infrastructure on this development to be considered for public adoption, a section 8 adoption agreement (Sewerage Act 1999) must be entered into between the developer and Manx Utilities. This agreement will include full construction details of all adoptable drainage.
Regards
Ian

Good afternoon Ian,
Please could you take a look at the details that have been provided in relation to condition 19 of PA 22/00675/B providing details for the construction of the headwall.
I have written the report, and received consultation from the flood team, but the Head of Development Management has asked me to check if there are any comments from Manx Utilities as you had involvement with the original application.
It is the Braddan Road Hartford Development.
The Details that have been provided can be found here:
https://pbc.gov.im/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=SUPMJWIP0EE00
The condition reads:
Work shall not commence on construction of the headwall for the outfall to the River Glass until full details, including facing materials, have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. Development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.
Reason: In the interest of visual amenity and to prevent increased risk of flooding and pollution.
Please do let me know if you are satisfied that the details address the condition.
Thank you.
Kindest Regards
Charlotte
