The proposed installation of wooden telegraph poles and their associated cabling amongst the streetscene due to the height, size and scale of the proposals would have a negative visual impact that adversely affects the character of the streetscene and would be contrary to General Policy 2 (b & c) of the Strategic Plan". This decision refers only to that applied for under the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and its subordinate legislation.
