Hi All,
Please could somebody take a look at the submitted details on an urgent matter as I have had the applicant on the phone understandably complaining that the details have not been viewable online.
I have checked this and although the documents were in the DMS, they were in fact not all available through the public platform. I apologise if you guys have also not been able to view these documents through this way too.
The original consultation was sent to you on 24.03.2025.
Condition 4 states:
No site clearance, preparatory work or development shall take place until a detail tree protection scheme accordance with the recommendations of Section 6.2.2 of British Standard 5837:2012 has been submitted to an approved in writing by the Department. This approved scheme shall be implemented prior to any works commencing and maintained in position until the development is complete.
In the event that trees become damaged or otherwise defective during such period, the Department shall be notified as soon as reasonably practicable and remedial action agreed and implemented. In the event that a tree dies or is wilfully removed without prior consent it shall be replaced as is reasonably practicable and, in any case, by not later than the end of the first available planting season, with trees of such size, species and in such number and positions as may be agreed with the Department.
Reason: to ensure that all trees to be retained are adequately protected from damage to health and stability throughout the construction period in the interests of amenity.
The submitted details and documents can be viewed here: 25/10042/AIR https://pbc.gov.im/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=STMXFQIP0EE00 .
Please let me know as soon as possible that you are able to view thee above.
Thank you very much.
Kindest Regards
Charlotte
