NOTE. The approved plan, 318 025 EXISTING DOORS & NEW DOORS IN EXISTING FABRIC [A1L], is deemed sufficient and would be considered satisfactory for planning condition 2 of application 24/00784/CON with the understanding that the openings/doorways are to be installed in accordance with the approved details, and retained thereafter.

Officer’s Report
1.0 Description
1.1 The proposed application 24/00784/CON was approved on 12.09.2024 for registered building consent for alterations and refurbishment works including replacement roof and windows - RB 187 (in association with application 24/00782/GB) which was subject to 2 conditions one of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 2 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy.
1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:
No works to create new internal openings or doorways are to be undertaken until details showing the exact position and size of each opening/doorway have been submitted to and

25/10027/AIR approved in writing by the Department. The openings/doorways are to be installed in accordance with the approved details, and retained thereafter.
Reason: To ensure that the special interest of this registered building is preserved.
2.0 Proposal
2.1 The applicant's agent has submitted plans of the approved alterations which includes a schedule of doors, description of works and detailed plans for each of the new openings.
3.0 Consultation
3.1 The Registered Buildings Officer was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 11.02.2025, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.
4.0 Recommendation
4.1 In the instance of the submitted 318 025 EXISTING DOORS & NEW DOORS IN EXISTING FABRIC [A1L] plans and after consultation with the Registered Building Officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient and would be considered satisfactory for planning condition 2 of application 24/00784/CON with the understanding that the openings/doorways are to be installed in accordance with the approved details, and retained thereafter.

I can confirm that this decision has been made by the Head of Development Management in accordance with the authority afforded to that Officer by the appropriate DEFA Delegation and that in making this decision the Officer has agreed the recommendation in relation to who should be afforded Interested Person Status
