General Notes
- BB Consulting drawings are to be read in conjunction
with the structural preliminaries, relevant specifications,
architectural and services drawings, including approved
builder's working drawings.
- Contractor to review all drawings and specifications and
notify lead designer of any discrepancies.
- All dimensions are in millimetres, unless noted
otherwise.
- Figured dimensions to be taken from the Architect's
drawings only. Do not scale from the drawings or
computer digital data.
- See Architect's drawings for setting out dimensions,
surface finishes and ALL other non-structural details.
- All dimensions to be checked on site. Engineer to be
informed immediately of any discrepancies before work
proceeds.
- Notify the Engineer prior to commencement of works if
ground conditions are found to be poor.
- Unless noted otherwise all standard door and window
lintels to be specified by the Architect.
- All nuts and bolts to be grade 8.8 to BS EN 20898
unless noted otherwise. Bolts to be Zinc electroplated
for internal use and spun hot dip galvanised for external
use.
- Any temporary works required are the responsibility of
the main contractor.
11.Contractor to liaise with Statutory Undertakers prior to
undertaking works which impact on existing
infrastructure or watercourses.
- Any services passing through structure to be isolated
and protected in accordance with the Service Engineer's
requirements.
