Application 23/01200/B was approved on 9th July 2024. Upon access to the site and opening up areas Asbestos sheeting was found which will be removed.from the roof and walls. This decision gave an opportunity to relook at the roof structure and it was felt that a simplified low pitch roof across the site would be a better solution. The removal of wall asbestos sheeting and replacing with a mineral fibre insulated wall panel would also enhance the appearance and thermal properties.
