As per our telephone conversation I spoke with the contractor and as the work being carried out is slightly lower than the footway no water would be running on to the highway.
Kind regards
Paul

Good afternoon Dan, No discussion was taken regarding drainage as the contractor stated that they weren't entering the Highway therefore I assume that any additional drainage would have been covered by the approval by planning. As the work being carried out is only a slight extension (approx 2m strip) I wouldn't have thought that added highway drainage would be required as there had a reconstruction of drainage and footway scheme in the past few years although I may be corrected on this. Kind regards Paul
