Tel 01624 685950 Fraser Reid Design Limited 10 Falcon Cliff Court Douglas IM2 4AQ TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act, and subordinate Orders and Regulations, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to REFUSE an application by Fraser Reid Design Limited, Ref 24/90993/B, for the Alterations, erection of extensions and landscaping works at Peace House Lhoobs Road Eairy Isle Of Man IM4 3JA for the following reason(s): 1. The form, design, scale and appearance of the proposed extensions are not considered to be sympathetic to the character and appearance of the existing property and would not have a positive impact on the surrounding environment, contrary to Housing Policy 16, Environment Policies 1 and 2 and Strategic Policy 5. 2. As a result of preliminary site clearance works and the lack of information to inform ecological mitigation, the proposals fail to preserve or enhance the natural landscape and as such are considered contrary to Strategic Policy 4 of the IOM Strategic Plan. This decision refers only to that applied for under the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and its subordinate legislation.
