Tel 685950 email [email protected] TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019 In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to REFUSE an application by Douglas City Council, Ref 25/10102/AIR, for the Information in relation to condition 3 of PA 25/90144/B providing details of the seating shelter at Queens Garden, Douglas Promenade at Marine Gardens 4 And 5 Harris Promenade Douglas Isle Of Man . Any reasons or notes which apply to this decision are set out below. In this instance of the submitted documents for the discharge of conditions and after consultation with Highway Services, which objects due to highway safety concerns, in addition to the fact that the proposed shelters extend beyond the red line boundary of the original planning approval. It is deemed insufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered unsatisfactory under planning condition 3 of application 25/90144/B, and should be rejected.
