Hello,
From the Planning List 19 Jul 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re-consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
• 24/00763/B • 24/00786/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
• 24/00666/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as any constraints in the new parking area are outweighed by the additional parking created in this high demand/short on-street parking supply location. • 24/00711/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposals retain at least a 6m length driveway in front of the front garage extension. • 24/00733/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00744/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00745/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing both living accommodations (i.e. there are two kitchens shown on the plans) have parking off-street to the rear of the building. • 24/00753/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00755/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00761/A - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00769/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is off a rural single track lane with slow moving traffic and can keep traffic movements internally within the site rather than moving livestock/equipment further afield.

• 24/00770/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the proposals are conditioned to be ancillary to the main dwelling. • 24/00776/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposal would have a similar or less parking demand to the existing situation. • 24/00777/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, • 24/00779/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the proposals are conditioned to be ancillary to the main dwelling. • 24/00782/GB - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the proposed parking is welcomed and situated on a slow speed cul-de-sac. Therefore, additional parking in this area outweighs any reduced access visibility due to adjacent property wall constraints. • 24/00783/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing and proposed accommodation has off-street parking available. • 24/00793/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00796/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. The Applicant is proposing to improve the vehicular access onto the adopted highway in another application no. 24/00170/B. • 24/00799/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. The Applicant should consider provided an EV charging point for visitors of the proposals to aid Net Zero ambitions. • 24/00805/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. The proposals are an improvement in access visibility over the existing situation and a potential passing place on the adopted highway could be added. A S109 highway agreement will be required for the proposed access alterations tie-in onto the adopted highway and potential new passing place. • 24/00813/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposal would have a similar or less parking demand to the existing situation.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
• 24/00598/B • 24/00712/B • 24/00766/B
