In this instance of the documents submitted in relation to the Solar Panel Installation, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for planning conditions 12 of application 22/01485/B, under the understanding that the development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.

Officer’s Report

1.0 Description 1.1 The proposed application 22/01485/B for a Residential development comprising 31 dwellings with associated roads, plots, drainage and open space proposals, was approved on by the Planning Committee on 22.05.2023 subject to 14 Conditions, some of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.

1.2 This report is specific to Conditions 12 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy.

1.3 Prior to the commencement of any development details of all solar panels to each dwelling shall be submitted and approved in writing to the Department and these approved details shall be completed prior to the occupation of any dwelling and retained thereafter.

24/10070/AIR Reason: In the interest of reducing C02 emissions and to meet the aims of the Climate Change Act.

2.0 Proposal 2.1 The applicant's agent has submitted a duly completed application form as well as a document providing the full specification for the solar panels that are to be installed - 470W MBB Half-Cell Module JAM72S20 445-470/MR.

2.2 The applicant's agent has also confirmed that all of the solar panels are to be installed as proposed in the original application.

3.0 Consultation 3.1 The recommending officer of the original application was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 12.08.2024, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased to confirm that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.

4.0 Recommendation 4.1 In this instance of the documents submitted in relation to the Solar Panel Installation, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for planning conditions 12 of application 22/01485/B, under the understanding that the development shall not be carried out unless in accordance with the approved details.
