Hello,
From the Planning List 02 Aug 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re-consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
• 24/00819/B • 24/00834/B • 24/00868/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
• 24/00773/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing access is acceptable for the relatively minor intensification of the land. • 24/00781/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. Conditions on off-street and on-street parking, driveways, layout, garages, bin storage and road construction to be completed before first occupation of any of the dwellings should be attached to permission. Note to attach to permission - The Applicant will need to enter into a S4 highway agreement with the DOI for the proposed adopted highway within the site. • 24/00815/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. A S109 highway agreement will be required between the Applicant and the DOI to facilitate the proposed extension of the dropped kerb footway. • 24/00820/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is in a sustainable location in Peel and the parking demand would be similar to the existing situation. • 24/00822/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the increase in mezzanine space is relatively small and the applicant is providing 2 extra parking spaces on the site to accommodate any potential increase parking demand. • 24/00823/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is within a sustainable location in Douglas city centre. • 24/00858/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing access and hardstanding layout is acceptable for the new building. • 24/00846/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking

as the size of the barn is relatively modest and the existing access onto public highway is acceptable for the proposals. • 24/00852/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site has suitable hardstanding space to accommodate any potential increase in staff parking demand. • 24/00867/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. DOI Drainage team should be consulted on the drainage implications of the proposals. • 24/00873/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. • 24/00875/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. A S109 highway agreement will be required between the Applicant and the DOI to facilitate the proposed extension of the dropped kerb footway. • 24/00876/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the parking demand would be similar to the existing situation.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
• 24/00676/D • 24/00748/B • 24/00762/B • 24/00771/B • 24/00774/B • 24/00803/B • 24/00804/B • 24/00821/B • 24/00830/GB • 24/00840/B • 24/00841/B • 24/00842/B • 24/00843/B • 24/00844/B • 24/00845/B • 24/00847/B • 24/00848/B • 24/00850/B • 24/00860/B • 24/00862/B • 24/00863/B • 24/00869/D
