Hello,
From the Planning List 21 Jun 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re-consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
• 24/00659/C • 24/00674/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
• 24/00649/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposed parking demand would be similar or less than the existing use. • 24/00660/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is in a sustainable location in Port St. Mary centre and there is parking available to Paddocks Lane for the existing residents impacted by the proposals. • 24/00675/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing access and proposed parking layout is acceptable for the proposals. • 24/00678/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there enough parking area on-site and in the garage for visitors of the proposals and existing residents. • 24/00681/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. A S109 Highway Agreement will be required for the proposed extended drop kerb footway. • 24/00685/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in a sustainable location in Onchan centre with suitable connections and parking provision on-site and within the centre. • 24/00698/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as this is a similar proposal to application 24/00381/B but with one less dwelling and therefore its impact will be less than application 24/00381/B. Cycle parking details should be conditioned to be approved by the planning authority and implemented before first occupation and retained thereafter. The approved bin storage and rear access proposals should be conditioned before first occupation.
