Hello,
From the Planning List 31 May 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 24/00562/A · 24/00569/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00534/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. The vehicular access, parking and turning areas should be conditioned to be implemented before first occupation of the proposals. · 24/00579/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the revised fence boundary does not encroach onto the adopted highway and the applicant has permission of the landowner to revise the fence boundary. · 24/00590/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is an existing vehicular parking area with suitable accesses for the proposed use. · 24/00596/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is an existing vehicular parking area with suitable accesses for the proposed use. · 24/00606/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is within an existing industrial area. · 24/00615/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is already used for pet type services and the car park can accommodate the existing and new mezzanine use through observed regular turnover of car parking spaces. · 24/00616/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in a sustainable location in Castletown centre. · 24/00617/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the existing site access and layout is acceptable for the proposals.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
· 24/00538/B · 24/00576/B · 24/00577/B
