Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 22 March 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 24/00196/C · 24/00304/B · 24/00311/B · 24/00312/C · 24/00313/B · 24/00317/C · 24/00344/A
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00252/GB - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00261/C- After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the site is in a sustainable city centre location and on-street car parking is controlled by TROs. · 24/00277/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there are adequate possible site accesses to the site for the infrequent use/maintenance of the proposals. · 24/00298/B- After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as this is a similar proposal to previous application 23/00526/B which Highway Services did not oppose, subject to conditions on permission for access, layout, vehicle turning areas and parking, bins and cycle storage completed before first occupation. · 24/00308/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposals are accessed of a low traffic rural route. The applicant is advised to consider an EV charging point for the new accommodation to aid Net Zero ambitions. · 24/00347/C After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the proposals are relatively small, have parking on-site in front of the unit and on the estate, and is in an industrial estate which can commonly see this type of operation.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
· 24/00220/B · 24/00230/B · 24/00247/B
