Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 29 March 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 24/00302/B · 24/00314/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00189/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, subject to the proposals being restricted to a single person operation via condition. The proposals appear of a small nature and there is parking within the site and a parking bay space on the cul- de-sac. · 24/00227/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00234/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00295/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the site being in a sustainable town centre local with public parking nearby to the site. · 24/00260/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00283/B, as the site access is existing, the proposals are relatively small in operation and there is parking on the estate, providing the vehicular access and parking is confirmed to be available for staff and visitors of the proposals (via confirmation and a red-line boundary or blue line boundary amendment). · 24/00293/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the proposals remain ancillary to the existing accommodation on the site. · 24/00302/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00328/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00329/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations.

· 24/00330/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00331/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as there is a retained 1.2m minimum width footway achieved at pole locations. · 24/00332/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the huts are positioned no less than 5m from the pedestrian entrance to the beach (for visibility purposes between pedestrian-cyclists on the promenade) - this should be conditioned on permission. · 24/00352/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as the existing site access and internal layout hardstanding areas are acceptable for the proposals. · 24/00358/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking as parking will be restricted/limited in the local area and streets traffic managed for the TT period, as well as possible parking available within the site if needed (majority of visitors will be associated with the TT event and come by foot).
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
· 24/00197/B · 24/00204/B · 24/00306/C · 24/00309/C · 24/00323/B · 24/00326/B · 24/00363/B
