Highway Services and Climate Change Team have no objections to the application, while Digital Isle of Man supports it as part of the National Broadband Plan, but Andreas Parish Commissioners strongly object due to visual impact and regression to overhead lines in an underground service area.
Key concern: introduction of unsightly overhead poles and wires in area currently served by underground services, constituting visual pollution and regression from modern standards
