Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 5 April 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 24/00269/D · 24/00320/A
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00318/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the existing access and visibility, and internal access track, is acceptable for the relatively small nature of the proposals. · 24/00321/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the low speed nature of the access road and the offset position of the garage allowing suitable vehicle stopping and manoeuvring. A condition restricting the garage to parking of vehicles is advised. · 24/00343/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the proposals being relatively small in nature and there is on-street parking available adjacent to the property, providing the salon is a single person operation (controlled via condition). · 24/00346/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as suitable off-street parking is retained after the extension is built. · 24/00350/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the access proposals and assessment are similar to the previous approved planning application 18/01121/B, providing the access design, visibility splays, internal access road, vehicle turning and parking areas on the approved plans are completed before first occupation of the proposals (via condition(s)). A S109 highway agreement will be required for the proposed access works onto the adopted highway. · 24/00355/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking,
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
· 24/00285/B · 24/00315/B · 24/00319/B · 24/00333/B · 24/00335/B
