Good afternoon Daniel, The submitted document aims to discharge Condition 8 of planning application 17/00947/B. This condition was recommended by the inspector following the successful appeal against the decision to refuse the development. It should be noted that the highways officer, planning officer and inspector had no substantial concern with the parking provision allocated to the development, and this was not a reason for refusal in the first instance.

Due to the nature of the development, Condition 8 requested the travel plan was to be focused on staff trips rather than care home users or visitors. The submitted travel plan established clear targets for the reduction of single user car occupants and increase in proportion of sustainable transport methods, which are to be reviewed periodically. Sustainable transport options have been identified in accordance with recognised guidance. Appropriate measures to encourage the use of such sustainable options and the employment of a Travel Plan Coordinator will be implemented in the first instance to address the necessary modal shift, with reviewing and monitoring processes to update the plan where identified.

Highways DC accept the submitted travel plan and have no objection to the discharge of the condition. Kind regards, Adam
