NOTE. In this instance of the submitted an application for the discharge of conditions, planning conditions cover letter, PP-250423revB (tree planting plan), St. Johns Planting Plan document and A1 General Arrangement of proposed junction 04 Feb 20 and after consultation with the DEFA Forestry Officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 2 of application 19/01209/B with the understanding that the development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details of any replanting and remedial works.

1.0 Description
1.1 The proposed application 19/01209/B for the creation of new access, including footpath, wall and gates was approved on 30.10.2019 subject to 2 conditions one of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works.
1.2 This report is specific to Condition 2 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy.

24/10016/AIR 1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:
"Prior to the commencement of the development hereby approved, the details (including timings) of the Tree replacement scheme for the affected trees and details (including timings) of any remedial works to trees that are to be retained on site shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details of any replanting and remedial works.
Reason: To safeguard the appearance of the development and the surrounding area."
2.0 Proposal
2.1 The applicant have now submitted an application for the discharge of conditions, planning conditions cover letter, PP-250423revB (tree planting plan), St. Johns Planting Plan document and A1 General Arrangement of proposed junction 04 Feb 20. These documents show the trees that are to be removed as well as the replacements which will be 18 native species of various types that are to be planted to the south of the development as well as the timings. The applicant have also mentioned that Manx Roots will inspect the retained trees and their recommendations will be undertaken.
3.0 Consultation
3.1 DEFA Forestry Team was consulted for advice on the satisfaction of condition. The advice received on 25.03.2024, after their review of the submitted documents, concludes that they are pleased to confirm that the information satisfies the relevant clauses.
4.0 Recommendation
4.1 In this instance of the submitted an application for the discharge of conditions, planning conditions cover letter, PP-250423revB (tree planting plan), St. Johns Planting Plan document and A1 General Arrangement of proposed junction 04 Feb 20 and after consultation with the DEFA Forestry Officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 2 of application 19/01209/B with the understanding that the development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details of any replanting and remedial works.
