1 Spencer, Daniel From: Costain, Sophie (DEFA) Sent: 11 March 2024 16:23 To: Spencer, Daniel Subject: RE: PA 24/10019/AIR - Information in relation to condition 46 for PA 20/01467/B - Information for bird boxes on block A of the former Marine Biological Station, Port Erin. Hi Dan
The Ecosystem Policy Team thought it would be useful to summarise our thoughts on the proposals.
The information for 24/10019/AIR was submitted in order to satisfy condition 46 of PA/20/01567/B. We responded to say that we were content with bird box 11 but that we needed to know the type of box to be installed. We also responded to say that the proposed chough box (box no. 10) was not suitable for that location and we recommended the box type be changed to a swift box. The applicants have now submitted information regarding an AfS S-Brick, and we are content with this swift brick type and would be content for these to be installed where boxes 10 and 11 are shown on the proposal drawings, and consider this condition satisfied.
Best wishes
Sophie
