Hi Helen, Dawn,
From the Planning List 26 January 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:
· 23/01407/B · 23/01443/B · 24/00050/B · 24/00058/A · 24/00090/B
The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 23/01497/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 23/01509/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, due to the sustainable location of the proposals. · 24/00010/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00033/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the attraction of local trips likely to come by non-motorised travel. A S109 highway agreement will be required for the proposed dropped kerb for the bins access. · 24/00040/C – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking due to the sustainable location of the proposals. · 24/00053/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the signage letters do not have illumination that flashes nor provides strobe lighting effects – this should be condition on permission. · 24/00057/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as although the porch is wider thus reducing driveway width, there is still enough space for vehicle manoeuvring in this slow speed rural layout and private access road environment. · 24/00060/D – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00064/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, providing the garage door does not swing onto the adopted highway i.e. roller shutter type operation or swings within the site only – this should be conditioned on permission.
Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:
