From the Planning List 23 February 2024 and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and re- consultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:
· 24/00067/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00111/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00123/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the existing parking and access can accommodate the proposed increased in storage units safely. · 24/00126/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00149/C - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the proposed use will have a similar or less parking demand than the existing dwelling. · 24/00169/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00170/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as although the proposals may not improve visibility at the access due to the tree in the middle of the access, the modifications will at least improve turning for large agricultural large vehicles. A S109 highway agreement will be required for the access alterations onto the adopted highway. · 24/00172/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00181/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the access is acceptable for the proposals due to the low traffic low speed rural nature of the road it connects to, subject to the parking, vehicle turning and garage areas being completed before first occupation of the dwelling. The applicant is advised to consider providing an EV charging point to aid Net Zero ambitions. · 24/00185/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking. · 24/00187/B - After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the existing accesses are acceptable for the proposals.
