Alteration to the finish of two windows at Michael Parish Church to protect them from damage by weather by protecting with u/v resist polycarbonate sheet cut to shape and secured on hardwood bearers fixed into the render within the window reveal. We propose to use a minimum of 4mm thick ICI Makrolon or equivalent. Fixing will be with stainless steel screws bearing on stainless steel cup washers, with drainage holes of not less than 8mm diameter being provided to take away any condensation. Ventilation holes will be fitted at the highest point of a window, not less than 20mm from the edge and not less than 8mm in diameter. To comply with Diocesan Guidance Notes draft 6 (3/2017) Section 6-20 - as used throughout the Island and in all Dioceses of the Church of England.
