Isle of Man Natural History & Antiquarian Society would comment as follows:
While the Society has no objection to the use of the proposed materials to protect the windows, the
Society is aware that such protection results in condensation so causing the growth of green mould
which will obscure the detail of the windows.
Isle of Man Natural History & Antiquarian Society would therefore request that any approval is
subject to a condition that the proposed panels be removable in order that both they and the
windows may be periodically cleaned and thus that the windows themselves be preserved in a good
condition.
