Proposed external Air Sourced Heat Pump within a private rear garden, installation of Solar Roof Panels and timber boarded fence position setback. The minor changes are: 1) ASHP unit will be positioned behind the timber fence and is not in the Public realm. We understand that the installation of heat pumps is to be included within future Permitted Development subject to conditions. 2) The timber board fence to be setback and erected beside the ASHP unit. This minor change is to allow both MUA & GAS meters to be recorded/maintained without the need to use the side garden gate providing better access. Visually this is an improvement and no change to the front elevation. 3) Installation of Solar Roof Panels on the rear elevation roof. This is a minor change as they fit on the rear roof pitch. They have an important function to collect solar gain providing the home owner with a more sustainable heating and lighting system. If this was an existing home then the installation could be carried out within Permitted Development.
If yes, please state the Officer's name and the date of the consultation.
