Proposed amendment - relocation of proposed concrete structure by 0.5m north.

Manx Utilities is currently undertaking the replacement of the existing sewage treatment works in Ballaugh, as outlined in the planning application 19/00427/B.

Due to the Covid-19 and border restrictions at present, we are facing technical difficulties in the delivery of piling from off island contractor to support the proposed deep excavations. To avoid a further delay, we are looking at the alternative solution and use of local resources to progress the scheme. However, the available local alternative is shallower and requires a larger excavation with battered sides and relocation of the proposed concrete structure and IRBC units by 0.5m north, as per attached drawings. The proposed size of structure, site layout and boundary of works remain with no change.
