Please describe/explain the proposed amendment - If necessary please continue on a separate sheet.
Further to the planning approval we would like to make a minor alteration to the position of the retaining wall and external steps. The original application allowed for constructing the new retaining wall 300mm away from the proposed extension with the steps perpendicular (in a similar location to the existing).
The applicant would like to re-position the external steps to run alongside the approved extension and amend the location of the retaining wall accordingly. By constructing the steps (0.9m wide) alongside the extension (maintaining 0.3m void between steps and extension to prevent damp ingress) this means the retaining wall will need to move 0.9m more than previously approved. This will have the added benefit of increasing the car parking space to the front of the cottage.
If yes, please state the Officer's name and the date of the consultation.
Mr Paul Visigah
