The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning applications:
18/01044/B - Extension to property to provide ancillary living accommodation - 22 Carrick Park Sulby - Mr. Teare abstained. Refused 2-1 majority. Over development of the site. The extension is too close to the boundary of the site and therefore close to the neighbouring property.
18/01048/B - Erection of a shed, with associated flue, and a mobile storage cabin (retrospective) Field 131341 Main Road Sulby - Refused Unanimous - if the field is being changed from grazing (agricultural) to wild meadow, it is in the Commissioners opinion, no longer agricultural. We would like to point out that the "associated flue" installed in the shed does require building control approval but the applicant has not submitted a concurrent application to cover this. We would also like to point out that the site notice was not displayed.
