In the absence of a detailed, professional appraisal of the historical importance of the sandstone warehouse on the site, is considered that the removal of this building would have an adverse impact on the historical importance of the Conservation Area and the application would therefore be contrary to Environment Policies 30, 35 and 39 of the Strategic Plan and CA/6 of Planning Policy Statement 1/01.
