Protects countryside and ecology unless overriding national need with no alternative. Assessed as part of countryside protection but not reached due to GP3 failure.

Environment Policy 2

Prioritises landscape protection in Areas of High Landscape or Coastal Value unless no harm or essential location. Site near such area; assessed secondarily but failed due to visual harm from non-agricultural unit.

Environment Policy 3

Prevents loss/damage to woodlands. Noted access in private woodland but no specific breach found.

Environment Policy 15

For proven agricultural need, requires siting near building groups, appropriate scale/design sympathetic to landscape. Even if need proven, unit isolated 90m from buildings, non-agricultural appearance (wheeled portacabin), unsuitable materials, in exposed area without exceptional justification.

Environment Policy 22

Prevents unacceptable harm to amenity/environment via pollution etc. No issues identified with noise, odour, etc.
