The comment stated;
As the owner of 17 Westminster Drive, and therefore someone with interested person status, I would like to object to the proposed development.
Each house on Westminster Drive has a detached garden at the rear, some of which are occupied by garages. the existing planning approval on the site concerned in this application is for a double garage with hard standing and as such is in keeping with the area. This new application would change that to the construction of a house on the end of a row of gardens and garages. This is not in keeping with the area and would change the character of the neighbourhood. It would also set a precedent, potentially allowing any house on Westminster Drive to build a house on their detached rear garden.
If the proposed development is approved, I would request, on behalf of all the residents of Westminster Drive, that conditions are applied regarding the construction of the house. Specifically that work is confined to normal working hours on weekdays when most residents will be at work.
