THERE ARE FOUR TREES ADACENT TO THE EXISTING STORAGE BUILDING, A TREE FELLING LICENCE HAS BEEN OBTAINED BY MY CLIENTS AND THE TREES ARE IN THE COURSE OF BEING REMOVED. THE LAST USE OF THE BUILDING WAS COMMERCIAL STORAGE AND MY CLIENTS WISH TO CONSTRUCT A NEW RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY IN THIS MAINLY RESIDENTIAL AREA. THE EXISTING BUILDING IS TIMBER FRAMED AND CLAD AND MY CLIENTS WOULD WISH TO CONSTRUCT A NEW BUILDING IN A SIMILAR STYLE WITH TIMBER CLAD WALLS EXTERNALLY BUT WITH A NATURAL SLATE ROOF. THE FOOTPRINT OF THE PROPOSED DWELLING WOULD BE SMALLER THAN THE BUILDING CURRENTLY STANDING ON SITE.
