The proposed extension is at rear of the property & will not be visually impacting when viewed from the public highway. The height of the extension is set lower than the existing dwelling. The proposed lower ground floor level accommodation is predominantly subterranean. All finishes to match existing. The proposed lower ground floor accommodation referred to as 'Rebecca's Bedroom' on plan is specifically to accommodate the applicants daughter who is autistic and essentially requires full time care. The accommodation proposed will provide independence for Rebecca and also allow for the full time care required. The attached letter from her carer details Rebecca's (Becky's) autism condition and daily challenges.
