I wish to lodge an application to this application on the grounds that it is not compatible with existing adjacent land uses.
Horses attract horse flies which are normally deterred when a horse is taken into a dark building.
A Marquee will not deter them and it's location is very close to where the public buy tickets and wait for the trams.
The proximity is well within the distance of the flight distance of horse flies.
Horse flies will land on bare flesh and will "bite" by way of puncturing the skin and into a vein. By the fact that horse flies feed on horse droppings they can a bacteria which cause severe reaction of the human. In about 10% of humans the horse flies bite can cause a severe reaction.
Based on the above I would request the Committee refuse the application on this site.
Kind regards
Charles Lewin
