18 / 8 / 2019 Mz. Melissa Hutton Co. Department Of Environment and Agriculture Planning and Building Control Directorate, Murray House, Mount Havelock, Douglas, Isle Of Man, IM12SF Dear Mz. Hutton, Thank you for your letter, regarding the Amended plans, for \frac{\text { edicted }}{} 27 Hildesley Road, Douglas, I.O.M. IM25AX. PA No 19/00543/B. I have viewed online, the Amended plan, for the raised wooden deck. I still object to it. This Amended plan, only differs from the original plan, in that she wishes to raise, a 1800 mm or approximately 6 ft , Glass wall between the raised deck and my back Garden. This Garden, is the only private outside space, I have. The plans do not mention, if this glass wall will clear, or frosted glass. But it will nearly, as high as the top of my kitchen window. I have been informed, that there can not be a wall, of any materiel or a fence, which is more than 2 metres high, from the ground, between the houses. This glass barrier, on the top of the raised decking, would be 3 and 4 metres high. A wall of any materiel, will block the sunshine in the morning, from the sea side of my Garden. Also anyone standing on the top steps, of the proposed stairs, down to her yard will be able, to look past the Glass wall, and into my garden. This Glass wall, is so high, it will also block my right to light and impact on my Garden. I do not understand, why \frac{\text { edicted }}{\text { needs a raised }} deck, as no other house, in the street has one. I would also like to mention, that she will be overlooking, a number of back yards, of houses in Malvern Road. I do not see, any justification for deck.
Does she imagine, she will have fantastic, sea views or rolling savannas, with Wildebeest roving on them? NO! because all she will see, is the back of the houses in Malvern Road. The proposed GlassWall, will be 3metres long. My garden area, is not much more, then 4 metres long. Also I do not understand, why she proposes, to have the wooden stairs, coming down from this raised wooden deck, descending on my side, of her garden, when the doors of her proposed extension, are on the other side of the Deck. Please do not allow this wooden eyesore. You will note, that I have not objected, to her extension to the kitchen/lounge. Also do the people living in 25 Hildesley Road, know about the, 1800 \mathrm{~mm} / 6 \mathrm{ft} glass wall, she wishes to erect, along the other side of this Monstrosity, blocking the afternoon/ evening sun to their lounge! Please also note, that I have lived at this address, for 31 years and have not had any problems, with neibours before.
Yours Sincerely
reducted
