I would like to erect an open fronted hay barn for storage of hay bales, straw, baled shavings and horse feed bins for my horses. If you answered Yes to either of the above, then your application will need to include a level of tree related information appropriate to the proposed development, which in some circumstances (e.g. change of use) may mean that no additional information is required. In 2017 I received planning permission for stables plus a small barn for which I have to use as my tackroom and rug store, it also accommodates yard and stable tools, horse-supplements and some feed, leaving no room for forage or bedding to be stored under proper conditions for my animals.
