Description: Additional use of hospital grounds for the parking of up to five minibuses (retrospective)
Highway Comments: The proposal is for the parking of minibuses when not in use for on demand local bus services or contract operations. The minibuses would generally be parked on the site during evenings and weekends. The photographs and site plan submitted show that the minibus parking spaces are of a sufficient size and there would be adequate site maneuvering space.
No staff parking demand would be generated and the minibuses would not be maintained or cleaned on the site. There would be no change to the existing site access arrangements with the existing one-way route through the site maintained which is adequate for the minibuses to access, egress and circulate around the site. No new highway issues should arise from the proposals.
Highway Services does not oppose the application.
