Dear Sir,
Re: Planning Application P.A. 18/01235/B
We wish to submit an objection as follows:
The Site Maps and Plans, appear to us, to be totally inadequate, lacking in clarity, specifications and details accurate measurement or diameter, structural foundations (impact on party wall) size of supports and cross members beams and fastenings, compounds by photo's depicting non-alignment of proposed side elevation and frontal view.
The application is for a "car port over existent driveway? Directed on the frontal photo provided it appears to have been extended outside of the building line down the side of the property and existent drive towards the boundary party wall, then along the boundary wall to the front curtilage, an area of upwards of 2030 m. Rather an excessive area, far above that off "existent driveway? Requiring in a visual aspect that does not blend in sympathetically, but would in fact detract from the area, being the only structure in the vicinity to extend forward of the building line, possibly leading to a loss of amenity space and overdevelopment within the curtilage in light of the 2 sheds already erected.
We fully concur with the applicant regarding severe weather conditions having experienced storm damage i.e. (grange roof lifted off) due to prevailing S.W. storms which both properties face directly, giving us cause for concern as to the impact of wind uplift on the large area of roofing and close proximity of the structure with the subsequent flying debris striking our residence.
We are surprised that the reason given for the application is "gover for a new car" as the property has an integral garage, which I would assume is the most protective environment for a new car.
Yours sincerely
