Dear planning
I have spotted a couple of errors in my letter in response to the above planning application. I have made corrections and attach this revised letter now.
The amendments comprise:
First paragraph - replaced underdevelopment with overdevelopment Second paragraph - replaced indicates that a wall will be built to close off the area for the proposed building with indicates that a wall will be built close to the area for the proposed building. (my sentence did not make sense)
Thanks

Dear Planning,
The Commissioners wish to submit their views on the following planning application:-
18/00532/REM Reserved Matters application for the erection of a detached dwelling (relating to PA 15/00794/A), Land To East Of Old School House, Main Road, Sulby.
The Commissioners feel that the proposed building is too high and too big. An overdevelopment of the site. They also have concerns regarding the tall drains belonging to the church which are sited to the rear of the church hall. Their exact location is unknown. A further concern is the protection of the Church and Church Hall while the proposed building is under construction. The distance between the existing church hall and the proposed dwelling (as measured off the drawing) will be approximately three metres.
The site plan shown on drawing (1440.1) indicates that a wall will be built close to the area for the proposed building. We would like to point out that this will prevent vehicular access to the Old School House and also the proposed property approved in principle under 15/00795/A. There is only one approved access for the 2 properties in principle and the existing Old School House. Closing the site down in this manner would be against the original planning approval.
The Architect states in his letter that the height of the proposed property will be below the ridge of the church hall, which is misleading. The height of the proposed property, measured on the plan is 8.1m. This is lower than the Church ridge (9.2m) but higher than the Church Hall ridge (7.3m). The proposed building will be higher than the Church Hall by approximately 800mm.
Yours sincerely,
Maureen Rimmer Mrs Maureen Rimmer Clerk Lezayre Parish Commissioners
